Terms of Service
Last updated: 22 August 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the TrustOS website and application (the “Service”) operated by TrustOS (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organisation you represent (“you”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service does — and does not do
TrustOS is a decision-support tool. It analyses payment requests, invoices and bank-detail changes that you submit, produces a risk score with explanatory signals, and lets you request a confirmation from a supplier contact that you have designated as trusted.
- The Service does not make payments, hold funds, or connect to your bank, and it does not verify the legal identity, solvency or good standing of any supplier.
- A risk score, a “Low Risk” label, a “Verified” status or a supplier confirmation is not a guarantee that a payment is legitimate or safe. Fraud techniques evolve and no automated check can detect every case.
- The decision to make, delay or refuse a payment is yours alone. You remain responsible for your own payment controls, approvals and compliance obligations.
2. Eligibility and accounts
The Service is intended for businesses and professional users, not consumers. You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to bind the organisation you act for. You are responsible for keeping access credentials (including any access password) confidential and for all activity under your access.
3. Your content and supplier data
You retain all rights to the emails, invoices, supplier details and other material you submit (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited licence to process Customer Data solely to provide, secure and improve the Service. You represent that you have the right to submit Customer Data — including the contact details of supplier personnel — and that doing so complies with applicable privacy law and any confidentiality obligations you owe.
Bank account numbers that you submit are stored only as one-way cryptographic hashes together with the last four characters; the Service does not retain the full account number after analysis.
4. Supplier confirmation requests
When you request a supplier confirmation, the Service generates a single-use link and, where email delivery is enabled, sends it to the trusted contact you saved. You are responsible for the accuracy of that contact. Responses given through the link reflect what the recipient chose to submit; we do not authenticate the identity of the person who responds.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to harass, defraud or harm any person or business;
- submit data you are not entitled to process, or data relating to individuals who are minors;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or circumvent access controls or rate limits;
- reverse engineer, copy, resell or build a competing product from the Service, or use automated means to scrape it;
- misrepresent a TrustOS result to third parties as a certification or guarantee.
6. Plans, fees and changes
Some features require a paid plan. Prices are shown on the Service and may change with reasonable notice; changes do not affect a period you have already paid for. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features of the Service; where a change materially reduces the Service you have paid for, you may terminate and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused period.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, risk models, design and trademarks, is owned by TrustOS or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are granted to you. Feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation.
8. Confidentiality and security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect Customer Data, as described in our Privacy Policy. No system is perfectly secure; you must notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorised access.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL DETECT ANY PARTICULAR FRAUD OR PREVENT ANY LOSS.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRUSTOS AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF FUNDS, PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE — INCLUDING ANY PAYMENT YOU MAKE OR WITHHOLD IN RELIANCE ON A RESULT — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US$100) IF YOU HAVE PAID NO FEES. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify TrustOS against third-party claims arising from Customer Data you submit, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law, including privacy law relating to supplier contact details.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these Terms, create legal or security risk, or fail to pay fees. On termination your right to use the Service ends; we will delete or return Customer Data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Sections 1, 3, 7 and 9 to 14 survive termination.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel. Before filing a claim, each party agrees to attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute by contacting the other party in writing.
14. General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan order, are the entire agreement between us about the Service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on the Service or by email at least 14 days before they take effect, and continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
